Music Jam

To jam or not to jam, that is the question.

It happened that most of us are musicians, so those who can play, willingly brought their instruments and before we knew it we had a music jam on our hands. So we plugged in our speaker, and after being introduced by our master of ceremonies, we jumped into the first song. There was room for everyone who felt comfortable performing to have their turn, with multiple sing-alongs to make sure everyone was involved.

Why we jam?

We jam for many reasons, to enjoy our instruments with others, to learn with each other, to sharpen our improvising skills and to experience the dynamics of jamming ... and because it feels good!

We jam to show off our many hours of practice or to perform things we have written. Many bands have formed out of jamming sessions.

We jam to find other likeminded musicians. It's a great way to see where you are in the grand scheme of things as we are all superstars in the safety of our bedrooms.

It was great fun, and we hope to do this again soon.
